What to do with baby clothes?!

Did you also get so many clothes for your little one?
Well we did. And it's great to get all those clothes, but I'm a shopoholic and also love to buy clothes for our little one. And I'm very picky if it comes to clothing.
Not to much pink, not to girly. It must became a real mini me! Sporty, though but feminem. Just a little bit of rock and roll!
But what to do with all those outfits? Some outfits she only can wear ones. And thats to bad. Because everything looks so good on her.

Well I've found an idea. From every outfit she wears I make a picture of it and Put it in a photo album. Next to the picture I write from who she got the clothes or where we bought it.

So you get enough fun pictures of your little one and you can always look back to her cute little outfits.

Due date, born date

Hello you....

I did not tell you how I survived the labor haha.
I will keep it clean I promise.

At half past 4 in the morning I went down stairs because I thought I must go to the toilet.
But some water dripped on the floor. I thought I was peeing but this happend 3 times and then I thought wait: I think my water is broke.
I called my gynecologist in the hospital and they told me I must come right away.
At first I don't want to come because I must go to the hospital at 11am for a heartscan of the baby.
But they say I must because I was to early (4weeks).
So I've woke up my hubby, I showerd, brushed my teeth and then we go to the hospital.

I've catched some water to show them so they can find out if it was amniotic fluid or something else. But it was amniotic fliud and I've got a heartscan for my babygirl again.
They said that it was not sure that I was going in to labor.
I had allready 2 cm dilated and still was not in to labor and I had that from the Friday before.
They saw some contraction activity on the scan. But I had that for 4 weeks. Nothing special I only did not sleep for weeks haha.
At 7am they were going to see how many cm I was dilated. But it was only 2,5 cm.
It did not look like I was going into labor.

But the contractions were heavier and more painful. They also came within 3 minutes.
So at half past7 they are going to see again how many I was dilated and I was 8 cm dilated!!!
So they said they were going to order the delivery room and that my hubby must pack our baby clothes.
But they must clean the room first because they did not know that I was going to labor that day, that it will go slow.

In the delivery room I had the feeling I must push something out. But I may not push I had 9,5 cm.
I was pretty mad because the midwife left the room and I was alone with my hubby and a nurse.
I went sow mad (because I want to push so badly) that the nurse left also and then I was really pissed.
But both came she looked and said I must push. (finally)
And in a half an hour our baby girl came out!

So I had a labor for only 3hours she was born at 9:56am. It went so fast.
But I was glad I feel so damn good and better then I was pregnant!

SO our girl was 4 weeks to early but she did it great.
They did not have to lie in an incubator.
But she had lost to many weight in 1 day so she must keep her food inside and eat more mommy milk and formula milk. But she spit the most of it out. So the child doctor want her to go to the pediatric ward. I cried a lot because then she would get probe feeding.
And suddenly she eat a lot from my breast and keep it all inside so she could stay with me.
I was so happy. And that night she ate only more and keep it all in. After 4 days we finally can go home. She ate great, her weight get's higher and she was pretty active.

So we can say we have a very strong fighter girl!

I'm so blessed to have her in our lives and that she does everything so well.

My due date was 27-7-2014 but finally she was born at 29-6-2014.

Now I'm curious, What was your due date and when did your baby born? And how was your labor expierince? just leave a reply.

Where to shop

In my other blogpost I've told you about my new all stars shoes and that I've got a bracelet with it.
I did not get the bracelet from Converse but from the Fashion Outlet centre.

It's vacation time so the most people need new clothes for on holiday or they've got plenty of time to shop.
If you live in the Netherlands or you go to the Netherlands on vacation I know a place you can shop at well known brand stores but then at least with 30% discount then the regular stores.
This we call an outlet store.

This outlet you can find in Roosendaal and it's called rosada .

They've got more then 60 stores and they are open every day from 10.00 till 18.00. Even on Sundays!!!
It's also the sale period so you get more discount then you've allready got.
But this is not what I want to tell you.
In the summer period they've got special actions. When you buy something over there you can get something with your recieve ticket.
So this time you can get a nice fashionable bracelet. BUT.... if you give €3,- you support 100% the KIKA foundation and you get one of the other 5 bracelets. I think this is a great action while they support a good cause.  You go Rosada! This action is valid until 31 August. So come and shop quick at Rosada fashion centre!

Stuffed apple

No this is not an apple pie. This is another version of my stuffed apple.

But I think this one looks more festive for this season.

What you need;

1 apple
2 tbsp honey
1/2 cup oats
Some cinnamon
Puff pastry

Preheat the oven on 200degrees.
Cut the top of the apple of. Hollow it and make the apple in tiny peaces. Mix it with the honey, oats and cinnamon.
Put your apple mix in to your apple.
Make squares from your puff pastry to close your apple with.
You can use beaten egg on the puff pastry so it get nice golden brown. But I did not do that.
Put your apple in the oven for about 20minutes.

Well you must say: this is much easier than apple pie?

Shop till I drop

I know I'm not a fashion blogger but I like to show some stuff I bought. Now pregnancy is over I can get rid of my maternity clothing! Time to shop new clothes.
But what?

I read and hear things from mommies they buy clothes where their boob can pop out easily. That's easy when you breastfeed. But why buy clothes like that when you don't like it? To be honest I never thought about the fact to buy clothes who will be easy when my baby girl wants some yummie booby milk from mommy. Than I must struggle a little bit more to get my boob out but I'm at home anyway so who cares?

So I buy clothing I like and want. I did not buy much, shopping for my baby girl is more fun (I don't know why).

My new neon yellow Adidas suit! I was looking for this a long time and now I've found this online! You've got this also in neon pink and neon green.

My new all stars! My old one where worn out. So time for new ones. I can't live without all stars they match with almost everything. I bought these on an outlet store. I also get a free bracelet with it. But more about that later!

And my last buying: this shirt from the Nikkie colection. I love the brand Nikkie from  Nikkie Plessen. Her style is feminine but tough and thats what I like. How ever her clothing line is normally not in my budget the quality of this shirt is very great. And because it was on sale and I want it for a long time I've just bought it.

These where my buyings. Now it's time to shop for my little girl haha.

Guest blogger at: bloggers network

Couple of weeks ago I've wrote a blog for:bloggers network. A platform that makes sure that bloggers get the best out of their blogs!
A great website for bloggers.

This website is in Dutch so it's for the Hollanders out here ;).

I've wrote an article about how you can keep your blog interesting.
It's in dutch but I will translate it in English for the other countries!
You can find the article here

Well how do you keep your blog interesting? With this question, I was walking around when I started blogging. I am also new to the blogger world and I would of course like the inspire many people. It's nice to start such a blog and write, but there are so many blogs, how do I distinguish me from the rest?

Actually it is very simple ...

You start with a topic you want to blog. A topic you know a lot from. Do you know much about beauty, you do not blog about cars.

The most of you have allready a blog. There are different websites you can make one for free.
Choose a layout that suits yourself and your blog. Design a logo for your blog and if you do not want to remain anonymous, get a good, beautiful portrait picture.

Make sure your blog stands out and that people who visit your blog for the first time feel right at home. That's the sign that you are not different enough. These are the basic rules that most of you will know.

Make sure you write a blog with good, clear pictures. Try to make them yourself and as original as possible. Do not look at other blogs how they do that. It's your blog, so you should do what you find what suits you nicely.

Not repeat things that have been told a million times. Just go crazy, do something else, you want visitors to be inspired. People need to experience your blog positive, they need to remember you. Think about how you want your visitors to recommend your blog to their friends.

Finally, make sure you're proud at all times on your blog. Are you proud to show your blog to your family your colleagues and friends?

Be yourself. Everyone is different and I personally find it nice to blog. Each blog you experience different because there is another person behind it. Do not be ashamed to be yourself and be able to express yourself. That makes your blog unique!

200-250 grams bastogne cookies (or biscuits)
100 grams of butter
8 tablespoons nutella
3 cups cream cheese (200 grams each)
cocoa powder
m & m's (optional)

Start with the crumbling of the cookies. Then melt the butter in about 30 seconds soft, but not completely liquid. Mix all the biscuit crumbs with the softened butter.
Then Grease a springform pan and spoon the cookie crumbs in the form. Press down firmly with a spoon so that a bottom is created.
Then mix the cream cheese with the nutella.
When properly mixed, you scoop the cream cheese mixture over the biscuit base. The nutella cheesecake can be in the refrigerator for a few hours.
Top it of with the cacoa powder and some m&m's for the nice and happy colors.
