These are some questions I'm think off when I see my baby girl sleeping..
Is she dreaming that she's a princess or a famous soccer player? Or does she dream that she can fly?
Or does she dream about absolutly nothing?
Queenie Liao, a freelance artist and mother of three boys living in California, has tried to answer this question by sharing the adventurous dramas That her child Wengenn dreams or during his sleep.Queenie has created beautifull photos using plain cloths, stuffed animals, and other common household materials to create the background setting.
And the pictures are just amazing!!!

Queenie always loved artwork that focosus on children. Photograpphy was always been a hobby for her. At first her interest was on natural scenery - the beauty of nature has never ceased to fascinate her. After the birth of her first child in 2002, Her attention shifted to her precious little baby. She began to take pictures of her baby boy, frequently drawing inspiration from the beautiful works of Anne Geddes. And in 2010, after seeing the work of Ms. Adele Enersen on her sleeping daughter, she began to experiment with similar ideas with her then three-month-old son Wengenn.She grew up indulging herself in fairy tales. Those fairy tales from her childhood gave her a multitude of ideas to try out. Everyday just before Wengenn's nap, she would imagine him being the main character in one of her favorite episodes, and "paint" a background setting with plain clothes, stuffed animals, and other common household materials, just like how an artist would with her paint brushes.
After Wengenn fell asleep, she will place him at the center of the theme she'd created and start taking pictures. her vision was to create a series of photos portraying him exploring his imaginary, enchanting fairytale-like world.
Today, with well over one hundred photographs, each portraying a cute little story or Wengenn in his journey of adventure, she have combined them into an album called "Wengenn in Wonderland." A Chinese version of her book "Sleepy Baby - 可愛 寶貝 的 扮裝 寫真, "was published in Taiwan in July, 2012. The book Provides step-by-step details of how some of Those pictures were taken, as well as how other art crafts can be made out of baby pictures.
She is very grateful to have the opportunity to share with the readers not only the pictures she have taken, but more Importantly, the inexpressible love, joy and pride as a mother while creating this special album for her son Wengenn.
